The Catch Me If You Can set is UP! Take a look at our AMAZING student builders in action this week! 90-95% of the set was built by our Tech Theatre & Musical Theatre students! What an accomplishment!! 

A HUGE thank you needs to go out to our family volunteers for taking time out of their Saturdays and coming by after work to make this possible! An EXTRA HUGE thank you needs to go to Jeff Dillon from Creative Arts Alliance here in Englewood for taking the time to help Ms. A teach students ADVANCED carpentry skills in the shop and on stage! You rock!!

Last night, I attended the Englewood Community Coalition's Annual Banquet at the Rotonda Hills Golf & County Club. I was joined by EES Guidance Counselor Penny Shaer (who helps coordinate our Red Ribbon Week) and ESE Aide Tamson Arnold. Special guests were Sarasota County Schools Police Chief Jacob Ruiz, Capt. Steve Lorenz, and Capt. Joe Eilerman. 

I was recognized by the Coalition for my work at the school with a "You Rock" rock. Chief Ruiz and I also presented a Certificate of Appreciation and a department challenge coin to Exec. Dir. Kay Tvaroch and the Englewood Community Coalition for all they do to support EES with our Red Ribbon Week and anti-vaping classes.

 I wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to the Englewood Coalition for honoring our Vape Task Force last evening and for recognizing our fearless leader Jack Ham. We are very fortunate to have such a devoted team working on our vape task force and a supportive community that not only supports our efforts but works right alongside us.
